You must be at least 13 years old to use BatchMates. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or use another person's account without their permission.

When using BatchMates, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or impersonating content
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Share content that is illegal, obscene, or violates third-party rights
• Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Attempt to scrape, hack, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Create fake accounts or manipulate school history data
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without permission

BatchMates is built on verifiable school history. You agree to submit only accurate information about schools you genuinely attended. Submitting false school history to gain access to communities you were not part of is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

You retain ownership of content you post on BatchMates (photos, posts, memories). By posting, you grant BatchMates a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. BatchMates does not endorse user-generated content.

Campaigns on BatchMates are subject to additional review. BatchMates does not guarantee the accuracy of campaign claims and is not responsible for how funds are used once disbursed. Donors are responsible for exercising their own judgement. Fraudulent campaigns are prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in harmful behaviour, or if we cease to operate the platform. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

BatchMates is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of user-submitted content, or that the platform will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatchMates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including damages related to lost data, lost connections, or service interruptions.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BatchMates shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where BatchMates operates.

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
